'Chopsticks' is Testing is Optional's 1st robot, made to play the 2022-23 FTC Game PowerPlay.

Chopsticks is made primarily out of the Tetrix® Structure System and wood. The bot features numerous custom designed and 3D printed parts, including chain guards, a claw, alliance marker holders, a control hub mount, and more. Using a combination of Rev Robotics® slides and a Torquenado motor, the lift is able to go from bottomed out to maximum height in under 3 seconds. The cover on the top is made using Lexan® (Polycarbonate) and placed on hinges to allow for easy access to the protected parts of the bot. Using a custom PID Controller, our drivers only need to push one button to send the lift to a pre-determined height to make scoring easier. Another scoring aid is the 3D printed U-Guide/Aligner that extends at the driver's command and retracts automatically when the claw is released.
